Q) What services does Daybrook Development provide?
A) Water hauling operations, support services for Northeast Natural Energy, and limited heavy equipment rental and small excavation work.

Q) Where do you operate?
A) We operate locally in the fields surrounding our home base and stay focused on serving the area we know best.

Q) Do you work for the public or only companies?
A) Our primary operations support Northeast Natural Energy. We occasionally take on small local excavation or equipment work when it fits our schedule.

Q) Do you offer emergency or short-notice services?
A) Our operations run 24/7 for our contracted partner.

Q) Why does Daybrook stay local instead of expanding outward?
A) We focus on reliability and relationships over volume. Staying local allows us to respond faster and maintain consistent service.

Q) What makes Daybrook different from other hauling companies?
A) We prioritize accountability, safety, and consistency over running as many loads as possible. We aim to be dependable, not just busy.

Employment / Careers FAQs

Q) What schedule do drivers work?
A) Four 12-hour shifts per week (48 hours), on either days (6am–6pm) or nights (6pm–6am). The schedule is fixed.

Q) Do you require overtime?
A) Only the 8 hours that are part of your typical four-day work week. We do not ask employees to work an extra day.

Q) Do I need any specific CDL endorsements?

A) Yes, you need a minimum of Class B with Air Brakes and Tanker. (Hazmat is NOT needed.)

Q) Are drivers required to be able to drive a standard transmission?

A) No, we have both automatics and standards in the fleet. 

Q) Is training provided?
A) Yes — fully paid training: watch (hands off), perform with assistance (hand on), then perform with oversight (shadowing).

Q) Will I work alone?
A) You’ll operate independently in the field but always have a dispatcher and team support available.

Q) Is this a good job for new CDL drivers?
A) Yes, if you’re willing to learn and follow procedures. We train thoroughly but expect accountability and safe decision-making.

Q) What qualities make someone successful at Daybrook?
A) Showing up on time, working safely, communicating clearly, and taking responsibility for the job.

Q) What type of person is NOT a good fit?
A) Someone looking to coast, cut corners, avoid communication, or just collect a paycheck.

Q) Is the work seasonal?
A) No. Operations run year-round.

Q) Will I be on call?
A) No — your schedule is known in advance.
